We’ve commissioned Malaysia’s first industrial-scale biochar plant in Bukit Selar, Kelantan. Using advanced gasification technology, this facility will produce 500 tonnes of high-quality biochar annually, alongside renewable energy and significant carbon removal.

Our high-temperature process (>850°C) ensures extremely stable biochar, maximizing long-term carbon sequestration. This is a significant milestone for carbon removal in Malaysia, driving local climate action and sustainability.

Recently-published research demonstrates the potential of using Dendro Biochar for oil spill remediation, showcasing promising results in its adsorption capacity plus the ease of removal by turning oil into semisolid phase through the addition of biochar.
